ERODING CULTURE AND VALUES
Indians have become addicted to the wrong values of a few who are part of the rest of the world and thrive in boasting about their newfound strain. They forget their roots and morals and have become the root of a cancerous growth that is galloping at speeds, which no one can control. It is astonishing to note that these so-called high society “cancer radiators” have eroded the very basis of our existence.
Such is their disease that they affect all in their sight. What is even sadder is that all persons coming in contact with their cancerous radiation try and emulate them at costs which most of the time proves fatal.
The judicial system evaluates only evidence prior to passing of judgments and social effects are never ever taken into account. The onus is on the ill-advised person, who is in the dock, is expected to have lived a good life and been away from any practicing evil. However, this is what never happens, because, the lure of riches, sex, and a snazzy life is too strong for a person to be bound in the ever-weakening boundaries founded by their ancestors.
What happens next? Is it difficult to predict? The answer is that this prediction would out beat the best of astrologers, as astrology is not what is required for this perfect prediction. It is simply there for all to see. The writing is on the wall right in front and that too in bold black and white.
But I guess it suits us to say that we cannot decipher the language, and our children follow suit as it is impossible to teach our children what we simply fail to understand. Now, what does this make us? It just makes us all a bunch of total illiterates.
Can we expect logic and leadership from illiterates? No, I do not think and feel so. Therefore, we should all expect that we are led to doomsday in absolute high-class style. Has anyone ever thought about the state of affairs that would prevail in the days to come? I doubt! We want to live for the second, as time is too precious for even considering the well-being of our forth-coming generation. We have become selfish and self centered and are simply obsessed with the newfound toys that we have discovered and are eagerly waiting to flaunt them for all to see and appreciate and for the naive to feel jealous within, as we have just sown the seeds of the onlookers doom, by a process as simple as sight pollination.
Today, everyone is trying to purchase the other, as they firmly believe that every human who comes to this world does so with an engraved price tag on their soul. We have become soul buyers. The honest get caught in an intricate web of bidders who try to come up with a price, and hope that their bid is the best. The dishonest know what their last price tag was when they were successfully last, bided on, and now they look for better deals, as they already feel grossly undervalued, and so the chain of the captivators circles on, and encompasses all in their charming but sticky web. Death is imminent.
Money has become a status symbol and sexual vulgarity, a fashion. Both these attributes are preached and practiced by our social leaders, may they be the people who rule the country, industries and businesses or the parents that run their house, I would have loved to have used the word home instead of house but unfortunately the walls and the decoration are devoid of emotions.
Industries and business houses preach just one sentence.” success at all costs”. Corruption to them is a boon, an easy password to success. Their prime concern is the money that they can take home to their ever-greedy families, who for reasons known to all, are ever short of money as their lust and crave for fantasy never ever ends. Fantasy comes at a cost not only to them but also to the entire society. The crimes on the rise are a direct result of their deeds. And at the end of it all it is the naïve and innocent onlooker who simply drifted into the streams of these murky and dirty waters, and drowned, just because the current was to strong to face.
Business houses who claim to be the founders of this industrial nation are no exception and the culture that is seen within, is visibly by far, too strong for a need to inspect physical evidence. Schools and colleges have not only become a competitive ground for their pupils in terms of fashion and wealth but also for their parents who feel that their child would get an inferiority complex if they were the simplest! What a shame???
The Administration of the country has been reduced to a play of numbers and the blame game. Both ways it has become a game, an thriving and profitable industry where money flows like the ever melting ice in the north pole which is flooding this earth slowly but surely. Values and truthfulness have already been submerged in the rising waters and along with that, many a innocent soul who have no means to remain afloat.
Volumes could be written and would be written in the coming days. We cannot sit back and expect minds to level with realistic and correct lifestyle in a hypnotized mind frame. Values have to be re written. Moreover, the most important of all is that souls have to be set free and chanelised to remain clean, not by laundering but naturally. Moralities have to be atmosphered and cultural virtues engraved. Only then can this cancer ever stop.
Think for a moment and think on. Don’t stop thinking. But evolve into a beautiful, free and honest soul.
